Basil Hayden's Two By Two Rye is an American whiskey made by blending four Kentucky straight whiskeys: two rye and two bourbon. It is a bright, delicate and approachable style, with plenty of sweet fruit running through it, reminiscent of candied red apple. Floral and black cherry notes sit alongside. On the palate the structure is modest, with lemon and pistachio, then gentle hints of baking spice and sandalwood.
