This single malt from Battery Point Distillery is made in Tasmania, Australia, and matured in sherry-seasoned casks. It is bottled at 46.8% in a 50cl bottle.
The palate shows sultana, burnt orange and roasted nuts with dark toffee and a fine tannin line. The finish carries warmth and gentle spice.
On the nose there are dried figs, raisins and sultanas with baking spices, toasted oak and a hint of orange peel. The palate is medium to full-bodied, with dark fruit, caramel, nutmeg and a little chocolate. The finish tapers to a clean, dry close.
