This is a Beam bourbon aged 100 months, bottled in a Dining Car decanter dated 1982, in a 75cl bottle.
Decanter bottlings of bourbon took off during the 1960s, and Jim Beam embraced the practice more keenly than any other producer. The Beam family has a long place in Kentucky distilling, and James Beauregard Beam re-opened the Clermont distillery in 1935 after the repeal of Prohibition.
