BearFace is a Canadian whisky bottled at 42.5% in a 70cl bottle. It is matured in oak three times over.
It starts in ex-bourbon American oak barrels, which add vanilla undertones. It then moves to French oak that previously held Bordeaux-style wines, bringing dry fruit notes and a deep ruby hue. Finally, Hungarian oak adds a spicy rye character and a rich texture.
