Beenleigh 8 Year Old 2015 Magnum Series #2 Alex Webb Edition (1.5L, 60%)

This is an 8 year old single rum from Beenleigh in Queensland, Australia, distilled in 2015 and bottled in 2023. It is the Alex Webb Edition, the second release in the Magnum Series, and an original bottling by the distillery. It is made from molasses, distilled first in a column still and then again in a pot still. The rum matured in bourbon casks and is bottled at 60%, with no added colouring, no chill filtering and no added sugar. The flavour leans towards fruity notes with a pleasant sweetness.
