Bell's Christmas Edition 1995 is a blended Scotch whisky that comes in a decanter. The decanter celebrates the art of distilling and the role of the cellar man, who over an eight year period monitors the whisky's progress, regularly taking samples. Only when he judges it to have reached optimum maturity does he release it for blending and bottling. Arthur Bell & Sons acquired the Blair Athol and Dufftown-Glenlivet distilleries in 1933, after the end of prohibition, and bought Inchgower distillery in 1936.
