Bell's Old Scotch Whisky Extra Special is a blended Scotch from the 1980s, in a 1 litre bottle. It was bottled before the brand became Bell's Original. The blend is built around Blair Athol malt, with contributions from Dufftown, Inchgower and Pittyvaich. The nose is briny and earthy, with toasted cereal, biscuit, lemon peel and dried apple. On the palate it is grassy and juicy, with fresh hay, orchard fruit, shortbread and lemon marmalade. The finish is oily and peppery, with a dry, spicy tail.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
