This is a 10-year-old Ben Nevis bottled by Signatory as number 80 in its 100 Proof Edition, at 57.1% ABV. It was distilled in 2015 and bottled in 2026.
The whisky matured in first-fill Oloroso sherry butts.
The nose brings dark chocolate, raisins and sultanas, caramel and toffee, orange peel and a light, yeasty bread note. The palate is full-bodied Oloroso sherry with figs, dates, espresso, cocoa and spiced oak, with a slightly oily texture. The finish is long, warm and dry, with bitter chocolate, cinnamon and clove.
