This is a Ben Nevis single malt from the Highlands, distilled in 2015 and matured for ten years. It was then finished in Oloroso sherry butts and bottled by Signatory Vintage at 57.1% ABV as Edition #80 of its 100 Proof series. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The whisky is a deep amber. The nose is led by dark dried fruit such as raisins and sultanas, with fine spice. On the palate come dark chocolate and fresh espresso alongside the sweetness of cooked-down jam, with an oily texture. The finish is dry, with oak and a hint of cocoa.
