A 12 year old Ben Nevis single malt, bottled as the official release for the third Stonehouse Whisky Festival in 2026. It is one of 100 bottles, at a cask strength of 57.6%. The whisky was distilled on 6 June 2014 and matured in a refill bourbon hogshead. It then spent 16 months in a first-fill Palo Cortado barrique, which adds sweet, tangy tannins. The Whisky Union of Gentlemen chose the cask, and the label shows the Stonehouse bandstand drawn by Orla Stevens, joined this year by musicians from Stonehouse Silver Band.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
