Ben Nevis 13 Year Old is a Highland single malt bottled by Wm Cadenhead as part of its Original Collection. It was distilled in 2012 and bottled in May 2026 at 46% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was matured in a combination of Oloroso and bourbon hogsheads. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring. The distillery, founded in 1825 by John McDonald, takes its name from the mountain at whose foot it stands.
Apricot marmalade, clootie dumpling, ginger and biscotti lead the nose. The palate offers walnut whip, golden syrup and cardamom buns, and the finish brings hazelnut, cocoa and blackcurrants.
