Ben Nevis – 1966 Signatory Vintage 55 Years Old Rare Reserve (70cl, 45.3%)

This is a Ben Nevis single malt distilled on 22 April 1966 and bottled by Signatory Vintage on 1 May 2021, after 55 years in the cask. It is a Rare Reserve bottling drawn from sherry hogsheads numbered 2456, 2457 and 2458. Only 99 bottles were filled, at 45.3% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. Ben Nevis stands near Fort William in the Highlands, at the foot of the mountain whose name it takes, and was founded in 1825 by "Long" John MacDonald.
