This Ben Nevis was bottled to mark the 15th anniversary of Whiskybase. It was distilled on 9 February 1996 and bottled on 27 September 2022, at 26 years old.
It matured in sherry butt number 4, and 365 bottles were filled at 51.2% ABV, each in a 70cl bottle.
Ben Nevis stands at the foot of the mountain near Fort William. "Long" John MacDonald founded the distillery in 1825, and Nikka took it over in 1989.
