Ben Nevis – 1999 26 Year Old Little Brown Dog (70cl, 50.5%)

This is a 26 year old Ben Nevis bottled by Little Brown Dog at 50.5% ABV. It was distilled on 24 June 1999 and bottled on 30 June 2025, and comes from a second fill bourbon cask. It is one of 220 bottles, in a 70cl bottle. The label shows a Japanese koi carp. It refers to the time when Ben Nevis made raw spirit that was shipped to Japan to mature there and was later sold as Japanese whisky. In the tasting notes it is described as pineapple tart, crisp pastry and nutmeg.
