This Ben Nevis is a 12 year old single malt from Blackadder's Ingelred series, subtitled Whisky with an Edge. It was distilled in December 2010 and bottled in October 2023 at cask strength, with 263 bottles filled from a Californian red wine cask.
The nose is layered, with sweet banana and rich dried fruit, followed by hints of sweets and ripe plums. On the palate the mild, fruity character is given richness, with dried fruit leading and subtle vanilla alongside.
