A single cask Highland single malt from Ben Nevis, distilled in 2012 and bottled in 2021 at 8 years old by Duncan Taylor. It is bottled at its natural cask strength of 55.6% ABV in a 70cl bottle, and the cask gave just 88 bottles.
The whisky began in a bourbon cask and spent its last nine months in one of Duncan Taylor's sherry Octaves. These small barrels are recoopered from large sherry butts, and their high ratio of surface area to volume brings a strong sherry influence in a short time.
