This Ben Nevis is a Highland single malt distilled in 2014 and bottled at 46% ABV by Signatory Vintage for its Decanter Collection. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The whisky spent all nine years of its maturation in second-fill Oloroso sherry butts.
The nose combines sherry and raisins with sweet cherry jam, burnt almonds and a touch of cinnamon. The palate is full and powerful, with blackberry, dates, spice and a hint of speculaas, and the finish is long, with spicy sweetness, toffee, fruit and cinnamon.
