This is a nine-year-old Highland single malt from Ben Nevis, a 2014 bottled independently by Signatory Vintage as part of its Decanter Collection. It comes in a 70cl decanter at 46%.
The whisky matured in second-fill Oloroso sherry butts.
The nose combines malt, minerals, sherry, earthy notes, marzipan, vanilla and dried fruit. The palate starts soft and sweet, with biscuits, sherry, dates, oak, nuts and spice. The finish is medium in length, balancing sweetness and pepper.
