This Ben Nevis was distilled in 2015 and bottled by Signatory Vintage on 5 February 2024 at 57.1%, as Edition #5 of its 100 Proof series. Only 4,099 bottles were filled, each of 70cl.
It was matured in a combination of first and second fill Oloroso sherry casks, which gave it a deep amber colour.
The nose offers dried fruit, raisins, warm spices and a hint of dark chocolate. The palate is robust and oily, with plums, burnt sugar, sherry syrup and spiced wood, and the finish carries a subtle bitterness.
