A single cask Ben Nevis, distilled in 1996 and bottled in 2026 by The Wealth Spirit at 29 years old and 42.3% ABV. It was matured in a hogshead, cask 1398, and filled 250 bottles.
The colour is pale, like white wine. The nose begins with old paint pots, brine, seawater and sodden ashes before mango, pink banana and papaya emerge. On the palate the exotic fruit arrives first, followed by ashes, oils, seaweed and wax. The finish is medium in length, with a return of maritime notes, pepper, salt and a touch of bitterness.
