This is an 8-year-old Ben Nevis single malt, distilled in 2014 and bottled in 2022 by Signatory Vintage at 43% ABV. It matured in first fill and second fill Oloroso sherry butts.
The bottling comes from the range sold in orange tubes, which Signatory Vintage uses for whiskies at 43% ABV. The independent bottler keeps more than 10,000 hogsheads, butts and other casks in its warehouses, and releases bottlings from them in several series.
