Ben Nevis – Battlehill 12 Year Old (46%)

This is a 12-year-old Highland single malt from Ben Nevis, bottled by the independent company Duncan Taylor as part of its Battlehill series at 46% ABV. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring. Duncan Taylor created the series in memory of one of the best-known landmarks of Huntly, the town in north-east Scotland where the company is based. Battlehill is the hill near Slioch where, in December 1307, the struggle for the throne between Robert the Bruce and John Comyn, Earl of Buchan, was fought.
