Ben Nevis Coire Leis is a single malt Scotch whisky bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured for between 8 and 10 years in first-fill ex-bourbon and oak casks.
The nose combines orange oils, lemon zest, Manuka honey, vanilla and buttered digestive biscuits, with charred oak and wood spice. The palate is creamy and oily, with tarte Tatin, caramel, baked apple, orange peel and poached pear. The finish brings toasted oak, baking spices, a hint of smoke and orchard fruits.
