A Highland single malt from Ben Nevis, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. Coire Leis is a new official bottling from the distillery, and its name refers to the source of its water, a small loch nearby. It is matured in first-fill ex-bourbon casks.
The nose is fresh and sweet, with lemon, vanilla, grasses and dough. The palate is bitter-sweet, with pear, orange, caramel, oak and the mineral character typical of Ben Nevis. The finish is medium in length, with fruit and dark chocolate.
