Ben Nevis MacDonalds Traditional is a single malt Scotch whisky from Ben Nevis, in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV.
It is typically described as smooth and easy drinking. The nose brings toffee, dry smoke and a well-balanced honey richness, with marzipan and raw almonds. On the palate there is honey and smoke alongside salted butter and peanuts, rich, sweet and mouth-coating. The finish holds on to the peanuts, butter and smoke, with more toffee, a little vanilla and perhaps some milk chocolate.
