Ben Nevis – Traditional Peated Malt (70cl, 46%)

Ben Nevis Traditional Peated Malt is a Highland single malt bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It nods to the long Ben Nevis tradition of making peated whisky. The distillery uses only water from the summit of Ben Nevis, which stands at 1,345 metres. The nose combines peat smoke and sea air with ripe fruit, apricot, mango and orange, plus exotic spices and wild flowers. The palate is creamy and starts smoky, then turns sweet and fruity with quince, apricot and crème caramel, with ginger and pepper alongside. The finish is long, spicy and full of dried fruit.
