Ben Nevis – Traditional Peated Malt (70cl, 46%)

Ben Nevis Traditional is a peated Highland single malt released by the distillery itself. It first appeared in 2011 as a limited edition and was brought back later. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle, without chill filtration or added colour. The nose opens with salty sea air and wood smoke, followed by honey and wildflowers. On the palate fine smoke comes first, then crème caramel and ginger cake. The finish lets the peat smoke fade slowly, with vanilla and buttery caramel alongside.
