Benriach 12 Year Old Sherry Wood is a Speyside single malt, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It matures in a trio of Oloroso, Pedro Ximénez and virgin oak casks, and it is non-chill-filtered.
On the nose there are sultanas, dark cherries, spiced orange peel and a hint of roasted nuts. The palate is velvety, with dried fruits, mocha, nutmeg and honeyed oak. The finish is long, with dried figs, cocoa powder and lingering spice.
