This is Benriach 30 Year Old, a Speyside single malt bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
It was matured in a selection of bourbon, sherry and wine casks, and spent its long maturation in traditional dunnage warehouses.
The nose brings dried apricot, polished oak, fig compote, vanilla pod, roasted nuts and exotic spice. The palate is velvety, with honeyed stone fruit, dark chocolate, tobacco leaf, candied orange, toasted oak and gentle spice. The finish is very long, with oak, dried fruit and cocoa.
