This is a single malt from BenRiach, released as the third edition of Malting Season, which celebrates the distillery's floor maltings. The barley was Concerto, hand malted at the distillery in autumn 2012 and 2013, and the whisky was bottled in 2023.
It was matured in bourbon casks and virgin oak casks. The colour is golden barley.
The nose combines freshly harvested barley and orchard fruit with wild bergamot, pear and meadowsweet honey over gently kilned malt. The palate is smooth and creamy, with clementine, floral honey and gentle barley spice, ending with apricot, malted almond and a trace of wild cherry.
