Benriach – The Original Ten

Benriach The Original Ten is a ten-year-old unpeated single malt from Speyside, in a revised version with an adjusted recipe. The change brings a different maturation: the casks are now bourbon barrels, joined by sherry casks and virgin oak casks. It is described as fruity, rich and layered, bright gold in colour. The nose brings orchard fruit, honey and toasted oak. Pear, nectarine, honey and sweet malted barley show on the palate, and the finish has almond and spicy vanilla.
