This is a 12 year old Speyside single malt from BenRiach, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. The name comes from the Gaelic for 'speckled mountain', and the distillery was one of the few with its own floor maltings.
The whisky was aged in a combination of bourbon, sherry and marsala casks.
Peat smoke is the lead, complemented by dried fruit and vanilla from the bourbon and sherry casks, and rich, sweet fruit from the marsala.
