BenRiach The Smoky 12 is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 46% ABV with natural colour. It is made from a combination of unpeated and peated spirit.
The whisky spends at least twelve years maturing in three kinds of cask: bourbon barrels, sherry casks and Marsala wine casks.
The nose is smoked vanilla, charred orange and toasted almond. On the palate come dark chocolate, fruit peel, brown sugar and smoked oak, leading into a finish of cocoa and smoked orange.
