Benriach The Thirty is a 30-year-old Speyside single malt bottled at 46%. It was matured for more than 30 years in bourbon, sherry, virgin oak and port casks, and is made from 100% peated Benriach malt. The colour is close to mahogany.
The nose offers dark fruits, honey, chocolate and raisins. The palate is deep and concentrated, leading to a long finish of smoked honey, plums, baked oranges, smoked walnut, cinnamon and cocoa.
