BenRiach – The Twelve Three Cask Matured (70cl, 46%)

BenRiach The Twelve is a single malt matured for at least twelve years in three types of cask: sherry, bourbon and port. The whisky from each cask is married together, and the result is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle with a golden bronze colour. It is a sherry-rich malt, layered with baked fruit, maple honey and cocoa. The nose is rich maple honey, cocoa and baked forest fruit. On the palate there is maraschino cherry, baked orange and hazelnut, ending in a lingering sultana and spiced mocha finish.
