A Benrinnes single malt aged 11 years, bottled by Cadenhead at 46% in a 70cl bottle. The distillery stands in the centre of Speyside, on the northern slope of the mountain of the same name at 250 metres. It was founded in 1835 under the name Lyne of Ruthrie. Benrinnes has an unusual arrangement of stills. The low wines from its wash still are split, going first to spirit still No. 2 and then to No. 1. The distillate from that is run through once more, a particular form of triple distillation. Water comes from the Scurran and Rowentree Burns.
