Benrinnes 8 Year Old is a single malt from the Old Particular Midnight Series by Douglas Laing, matured in sherry. It was distilled in April 2014 and bottled in September 2022, with an outturn of 635 bottles.
The nose is rich and sherried, with dark fruit, spice and vanilla fudge. On the palate it recalls Christmas cake, with syrup, barley and sultanas. The finish is malted, with muscovado sugar, nuts, grapes and cereal.
