Benromach 15 Year Old is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 43% ABV after 15 years of maturation. It is matured exclusively in first-fill bourbon and sherry casks.
The nose opens with sweet toffee, then cracked black pepper and peat smoke, as forest fruits, dark chocolate and dried banana develop. The palate is creamy and sweet, with ripe apples and charred oak, followed by dark chocolate, toasted malt, orange peel and a hint of smoke.
The finish is medium and creamy, with soft smoke and dried fruit.
