Benromach 15 Year Old is a single malt from Speyside, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It is chill-filtered and has no added colouring.
Sweet and smoky notes are kept in balance. The nose offers apples and pears with a touch of citrus, light honey, spice and a gentle smoke likened to a soft campfire. On the palate come ripe plums and berries, malt, toffee and caramel, with cinnamon and cloves.
The finish is long and warming, with sweet fruit, light oak, lingering smoke and a hint of dark chocolate, ending dry.
