This is a 15 year old Speyside single malt from Benromach, in a 70cl bottle at 43% and presented in natural colour.
It was matured exclusively in first-fill casks, a mix of bourbon and ex-sherry wood.
The nose brings flowers, berries, black pepper and an earthy peat smoke. On the palate oak comes first, followed by fruit such as apples and grapes, dark chocolate and a light smokiness. The finish is medium in length, with hints of smoke, wood and dried fruit.
