This is a 21 year old Speyside single malt from Benromach, matured exclusively in first-fill casks and bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is of natural colour. Benromach has belonged to Gordon & MacPhail since 1993, and production restarted in 1998.
The nose offers sweet sherry, citrus, ginger, oak and a hint of smoke. The palate starts sweet, then brings black pepper, bitter orange and baked apples with spice. The finish is charred oak with gentle smokiness.
