A 12 year old Caol Ila single malt, bottled by Berry Bros & Rudd in a 70cl bottle.
Orange runs through the whole dram. The nose combines warm orange, chocolate, peat smoke and unlit cigars, with a lighter note of sugared almonds arriving later.
The palate is rich and heavily peated, with orange, savoury peat, cocoa powder and grilled lime in balance. Clove and more orange linger on the finish, a combination likened to a peated chocolate orange.
