This is a single-cask peated single malt from High Coast Distillery in Sweden, selected and bottled by Berry Bros. & Rudd. It was distilled in 2012 and bottled in 2023, and Cask #4333 yielded 243 bottles.
The whisky was matured in a barrel, then spent its final two years in an ex-Islay cask, which emphasises the peated character. It is bottled at a natural cask strength of 59.8% ABV.
The nose is clean, chiselled peat smoke with fresh orchard fruit and icing sugar. The palate brings peat smoke, crisp green apples, wood ash and minerality. The finish is long and smoky, with lingering peat and ash.
