Bhakta 1928 Calvados & Armagnac & Straight Rye Whiskey (75cl, 50%)

A Vermont blend of straight rye whiskey with Armagnac and Calvados, bottled at 100 proof in a 75cl bottle. The average age is 15 years. It takes its name from the oldest vintage in the blend, a 1928 Armagnac. The blend also holds 1941, 1962 and 1973 vintages, and the French brandies make up around 40 percent of the whole. Golden orange in colour, it has a nose of custard, caramel and vanilla. The palate brings oak, vanilla and spice, and the finish is lingering oak with mellow tannins.
