Big Peat 12 Year Old is a blended malt from Douglas Laing, part of its Remarkable Regional Malts range, in a 70cl bottle at 46%. It is made to bring the character of Islay together in a single expression.
The blend draws on Ardbeg for its vigour, Port Ellen for a very distinct character, Caol Ila for iodine notes and Bowmore for the spice that comes from its maturation.
