Big Peat Celebrating 10 Years Whisky Festival (50cl, 54.4%)

A small batch Islay blended malt Scotch whisky from Big Peat, released to celebrate ten years of a whisky festival. It is bottled at a cask strength of 54.4% in a 50cl bottle, without chill-filtering or added colouring. The nose is bright, sweet and floral, with peat smoke, sea breeze, salt, soft leather and fresh lemon and lime. The palate is dense, creamy and oily, with medicinal smoke, smoked bacon, liquorice, cinnamon, green apple, mango and banana. The finish is long and dry, with strong smoke and ash, then a last trace of salt, brown sugar and pepper.
