Big Peat Christmas Edition 2019 is an Islay blended malt from Douglas Laing, bottled at 53.7% in a 70cl bottle. It is a limited edition at natural cask strength, not chill-filtered and with no added colouring.
On the nose it shows toasted wood and salted caramel with a touch of sea breeze. The palate brings juicy stone fruit and more caramel, still quite smoky, with plenty of toasted peat. The finish carries ash, dry baking spices and another note of sea breeze.
