Big Peat Winter Edition is a blended malt Scotch from Douglas Laing, made from a vatting of Islay single malts. It is a limited seasonal edition, bottled at a high strength, with a heavily peated profile and a warmer, spicier side. The nose offers peat smoke, ash and wood fire, with spice, vanilla and a hint of the sea. On the palate are peat, smoke, spice and caramel in a full texture. The finish is long, smoky and spicy, with a slightly salty edge.
