Big Peat is a blended malt from Islay, put together by Douglas Laing and sold in a 1 litre bottle. It contains whisky from Ardbeg, Caol Ila, Bowmore and Port Ellen.
Despite the name, it is described as not as full-on as might be expected. It took the top prize in its category at the World Whisky Awards in 2010.
