Big Peat is a blended malt from Douglas Laing, in a one litre bottle. It is made entirely from Islay whisky, with spirit from Ardbeg, Caol Ila, Bowmore and Port Ellen.
Despite the name, it is described as not as full-on as might be expected. It won the top prize in its category at the World Whisky Awards in 2010.
